När sommarens stora turné drar igång skickar Lasse Stefanz ett sommarkort i sina fans i form av en ny skiva. "Sommarkort" innehåller mycket nytt material som har producerats de senaste åren. <br/>Dessutom lite guldkorn från katalogen, varav ett par delvis har fått en ny kostym. Tanken är att skänka en känsla av sommar nu när grönskan och värmen äntligen är här.

Vad kan man säga om legendarerna i Deep Purple som inte sagts tusen gånger tidigare? Nu kommer ett helt nytt studioalbum "SPLAT!" och återigen har bandet slagit sig ihop med superproducenten Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper). Tillsammans har de skapat ett album som bygger på det sound och den attityd som alltid har skiljt Deep Purple från resten.<br/><br/>"SPLAT!" är det tyngsta Deep Purple-albumet på många år och spelades in med alla medlemmar på plats samtidigt i studion, på samma sätt som Deep Purple alltid har spelat in. Ian Gillan beskriver musiken på det nya albumet som "kompatibelt med 'Highway Star', 'Smoke on the Water' och 'Lazy'". <br/><br/>Det finns inte nog med superlativ för att beskriva betydelsen som Deep Purple har haft för rockmusiken. Med mer än 120 miljoner sålda album sedan starten 1968 har Deep Purple sedan länge säkrat sin plats i historien som ett av de största rockbanden genom tiderna. De tyska power metal-ikonerna Masterplan släpper sitt efterlängtade nya studioalbum "Metalmorphosis". Efter en 13 år lång paus kommer så äntligen en ny platta.<br/><br/>Bandet, som grundades 2001 av ex-Helloween-gitarristen Roland Grapow, utlovar ett album som verkligen lever upp till sin titel. "Metalmorphosis" fångar en musikalisk transformation samtidigt som gruppen förblir sanna mot sitt ursprung. Lyssnarna kan förvänta sig det som alltid har definierat Masterplan - teknisk precision, starka melodier och episka arrangemang - men nu med ett tyngre, mer aggressivt sound och markant nytändning.

Legendary progressive rock band YES return with their 24th studio album 'Aurora'. When Yes first began sketching out ideas for what would become 'Aurora', the process was loose and exploratory. There was no preconceived concept at the start, just a collection of musical fragments that gradually began to find one another and take form. Among these early sketches was a piece titled "Aurora," and it quickly became clear that the name carried certain gravity. It suggested light, emergence, and a sense of vastness, qualities that resonated deeply with the band. <br/> <br/>As Steve Howe explains: "Making this record was joyful, a chance to play, explore and give everything to the music.
