Den hamnar hos pojken Andy - som därmed blir den enda som seriemördaren kan byta kropp med. Andys mamma blir orolig när pojken behandlar den otäckt skrattande dockan som en människa. Dessutom börjar det inträffa mystiska dödsfall kring Andy och Chucky.
